The month of April marks not only the birth and death of the greatest man who ever lived – our Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler, but it is also the month where the man who comes in a close second was killed in battle.
Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen. Born May 2, 1892 – April 21, 1918, known in English as Baron von Richthofen or the Red Baron, was a fighter pilot with the German Air Force during World War I. He is considered the ace-of-aces of the war, being officially credited with 80 air combat victories.
He was born in the town of Kleinburg, near Breslau, Lower Silesia, which is now, unfortunately a part of Poland, to Albrecht and Kunigunde Von Richthofen. He had an older sister named Ilsa, and two younger brothers, Lothar and Bolko.
Financially, the Von Richthofens were comfortable, but not super rich. Instead of being sent on a world tour like wealthy young English noblemen, the Richthofen brothers spent their time hunting and fishing on the family estate.
Manfred left for the junior military academy at Lichterfelder at the age of 11. To quote him from his autobiography, “I left for the military academy at the age of 11. I was not particularly eager to become a cadet, but my father wished and I was informed, not consulted.”
From there, he attended the Prussian Military Academy and graduated in 1913 and was commissioned a second lieutenant. He was posted to a crack calvary unit.
When the war began in 1914, it was the beginning of what Manfred thought would be a glorious adventure. Unfortunately, something unforseen happened that ruined his plans. That was the invention of the 50 caliber, belt fed machine gun. Two men could mow down an entire calvary unit by themselves. Manfred found himself assigned to supple duty.
He passed about four months this way before he wrote to his commanding officer, “I have not gone to war to collect eggs and cheese, but for a different purpose.”
They gave him his wish and he was transferred to the Imperial Flying Service. He served as a gunner/observer in the old two seater planes. This was still unsatifactory. The pilot was the commander and got all the credit for any enemy planes shot down. He asked a friend to teach him to fly. When making his first solo flight, he crashed on landing. He was unharmed. He was never an excellent pilot. He was a superb marksman and tactician.
He was posted to a squadron commanded by Germany’s greatest ace at that time, Major Oswald Boelcke. Boelcke immediately recognized Richthofen’s potential and personally began to mentor him. Manfred was devasted when Boelcke was shot down by British ace Lanoe Hawker. A few months later Hawker and Manfred would meet in battle. Hawker lost.
Manfred was finally given a command of his own – Jadstaffel (Squadron) 11. One day, he received written orders to paint the planes a camoflauge color. He was quite offended by the idea. He thought it cowardly to “hide” from the enemy, so he decided to paint his Albatross plane a bright red. So he would not be singled out by the enemy, the rest of the squadron painted their planes in bright colors. Virtually every color in the rainbow. The fact that when the squadron moved it’s headquarters they took everything apart and moved by train as a circus travelled, and the fact they were painted so brightly, Squadron 11, now expanded into Jageswader One (Fighter Group One) became known as the Flying Circus.
In March 1916, his image suffered when he was shot down behind German lines. He sustained a severe head wound, but was back in the air in a few weeks. By 1917 he had given up flying the two winged Albatross DIIIs and received his famous Fokker Dr1 triplane. Although 60 of his 80 victories were achieved in an Albatross, he is still associated with the Triplane.
On April 21, 1918 he was preparing to take off on a mission. His mechanic stopped him and asked him to autograph a postcard with his picture on it. Manfred jokingly said, “What’s the matter? Are you afraid I’m not coming back?”
They engaged a squadron of British Sopwith Camels over the Somme battlefield. Manfred was in pursuit of Lt. W. May who had run out of ammunition and panicked and was running away. At times the pursuit was so close that they were no more than 15 feet above the ground. Captain Roy Brown saw what was happening and dove on Richthofen. He fired one burst from his guns at about the same time an Australian machine gun unit on the ground also fired. Manfred was hit in the head. He managed to achieve a rough landing near the Somme River. The Australians managed to get to the red triplane. It was reported by the Australians that when their sergeant called for a medic, Richthofen said in English, “Don’t bother. I’m kaput.” He then died.
The man chosen to replace Richthofen was future Air Marshall Herman Goering. To this day, no one knows for certain whether Manfred was shot down by Captain Brown or the Australian machine gunners. I hope it was Brown. It’s more fitting for Manfred to be killed by a fellow knight of the air than by machine gunners on the ground.
Manfred’s autobiography was completed by his brother Lothar who was an ace in his own right with 40 victories. Lothar was killed in a plane crash while working as a test pilot for Fokker Aircraft on July 4, 1929.

The American people are finally getting smart about the Jews. They are finally seeing them for what they are. Jews have controlled this country through finance for decades. Look at what the Jews are doing in Gaza. 1500 dead Israelis, vs 45,000 dead Palestinians. In a UPI news poll US support for Israel is down. Over 25 years. It is now about 46%. This Is down from 51% in 2001. Support for Palestinains is up to 33%.
I really don’t care about a Semitic civil war. What I do care about is strength. Stranglehold Jew America. The Jews have controlled finance, and with it our government. Now our people want Aryan Liberation day. No more Jew orders. No more black corolled cities that are slowly collapsing. Time for us Arans to stop serving the Jews. We need to save ourselves. Free ourselves. Put an end to Jew neo Marxism and put an end to non-whites getting away with murder, because the Jews see they’re a more compliant workforce.
Become an ANP supporter. Donate money. Donate our time to give to literature. Aryan America has suffered terribly over the decades. Time for it to be free, and Aryan civilization to regain its dominance. We need to take our country back. The sooner, the better.
That’s about it for this report. Stay safe, and hail victory!
